Dutta Mr. Asraf Mondal ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that other than the statement of a co-accused, there is no other material available against the present petitioner. No injury was caused to anyone.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the petitioner was the owner of the vehicle in question. It is also apparent from the CDR analysis of the phone call records that the petitioner was present at the time at the spot. He fled away after the incident. Investigation is going on.

Considering the serious nature of allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
