In our view, the payment has been made as per order passed by the Division Bench. Only a question with regard to interest on commuted pension may remain pending, according to the petitioner.

In light of the above, this contempt petition is disposed of without passing any further order. The petitioner shall be at liberty to raise the issue of interest on commuted pension before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law.

Rule is discharged.

Contempt proceeding is dropped.
