1. In the instant Case, the petitioner prays for correction and modification of the order to the extent of the name of the competent authority as mentioned in paragraph 9 of the order dated 2nd December, 2025.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in WPA 14241 of 2025 which has been annexed to the writ petition being annexure P10 has specifically directed the Transport Directorate, Government of West Bengal to issue necessary direction upon the concerned regional transport officers to grant registration to the vehicles manufactured by the petitioner.

3. Having heard the parties, I am of the considered view that since the vehicle owners in general are facing acute problems in getting their e-rickshaw/e-vehicle registered by the respective registering authorities, I, therefore,

direct the Transport Directorate, Government of West Bengal to look into the matter and arrive at a logical conclusion in order to tide over the crisis as faced by the vehicle owners across the West Bengal for the purpose of registration.

4. The Transport Department, Government of West Bengal shall issue necessary direction upon all the Regional Transport Officers to grant registration to all the respective vehicles of the manufactured company in order to ease out the problem otherwise, the issue will remain unresolved and will give rise to multiplicity of proceedings.

5. The other portion of the order dated 02.12.2025 remains unaltered.

The department is directed to incorporate the necessary correction made in this order in the order dated 02.12.2025.

6. Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
