And In the matter of: Sanju Biswas @ Sonu ....Applicant/Petitioner Mr. Shibaji Kumar Das Ms. Parbati Mondal ...for the petitioner Mr. Bidyut Kumar Ray Mr. Kunal Ganguly ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the only material available against the petitioner is the statement of the co-accused.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that among other things, a country made pistol was recovered from the house of the present petitioner.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
