None appears on behalf of the Gayeshpur Municipality. The affidavit-of-service filed in the Court today is taken on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though she made an application for mutation of the property which she purchased by a registered 'Deed of Sale' on September 21, 2017 along with the mutation fees to the Municipality on November 6, 2017, the same is kept pending.

As the Municipality has accepted the money for mutating the property, accordingly, the Municipality is bound to intimate the petitioner the necessary formalities that are required for completion of the mutation proceedings.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 to take positive steps for consideration of the prayer of the petitioner for mutating her name in the official record of the Gayeshpur Municipality, strictly in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

WPA 22681 of 2019 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
