Mr. Uday Shankar Chattopadhyay Mr. Suman Chatterjee Ms. Aishwarya Datta ..for the petitioners The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent no.7 has raised a boundary wall preventing the ingress to and egress from the residential house of the petitioners at village-Purba Chandpur, Mandir Bazar, South 24 Parganas.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have made a representation in that regard before the Ghateswar Gram Panchayat, the respondent no.3 by a letter dated October 26, 2021. A bare perusal of the representation dated September 19, 2023, before the Executive Engineer, respondent no.2, however depicts an altogether different allegation, wherein it was alleged that the respondent no.7 has raised some pillars encroaching a public pathway causing inconvenience to the local people. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners prays for consideration of the said representations.

I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition solely on the ground of inconsistent allegations of the writ petitioners as apparent from the aforesaid representations. The petitioners cannot seek any relief from this Court with such an inconsistent stand. Accordingly, WPA 24246 of is dismissed.
