By an order of this Court dated October 29, 2025, the petitioner was permitted to perform Jagadhatri puja in the plot in question subject to certain conditions. The order was assailed before an Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court whereby the Hon'ble Division Bench directed that the pandal be erected only after obtaining permission from the co-owners of the land in question. This Court is informed that as the petitioner did not obtain any permission from the co-owners, he refrained from erecting the pandal and the puja could not be performed. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose shall be served by keeping this writ petition pending. The same is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
