Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers of two primary schools under DPSC, Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no. 5 herein, they are praying intra-district mutual transfer. The representation of the petitioners to the said effect is pending consideration before the Chairman of the said Council, then respondent no.6 herein, the said representation dated September 23, 2024, forms part of the writ petition being Annexure-'P/4'.

The respondent no. 6 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event, it is found that the learning process of the students of the respective schools of the petitioners would not be affected if the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then the respondent no.6 shall take forward steps for mutual transfer of the petitioners expeditiously.

WPA 25184 of 2024 is disposed with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities. (Biswajit Basu, J.)
