The present writ petition has been preferred challenging an order dated 13th March, 2024 passed by the learned Tribunal in the Original Application (in short, OA), being OA 334 of 2024 (LRTT).

Mr.

Bandyopadhyay, learned senior advocate appearing for the writ petitioners, who were the private respondents in the OA, submits that after having granted liberty to the original applicants to withdraw the OA as the same was suffering from incurable defects, the learned Tribunal ought not to have been granted any further liberty to the original applicants to approach the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Officer (in short, BL&LRO).

In the midst of hearing, Mr. Galib, learned advocate appearing for the State respondents, however, submits that the order impugned has already been acted upon and the concerned BL&LRO has already passed an order on the basis of the representations submitted by the original applicants pursuant to the liberty granted in the

impugned order. Let a copy of the order of BL&LRO dated 25th September, 2024, as produced, be kept on record. A copy of the same has also been handed over to Mr. Bandyopadhyay in Court today.

In view of such circumstances and as it appears that the order impugned has already been acted upon, no further interference is called for in the present writ petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. The petitioners aredirected to intimate this order to the private respondents immediately.
