The petitioners claim to be the owners of the property which is being encroached by the private respondent nos. 5, 6 and 7. Petitioners complained to the police authorities on 18.07.2024 and in spite of the same, no action has been taken by the police authorities. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. It is reflected from the report so submitted that earlier proceedings were drawn up under Sections 126/135 BNSS, subsequently, Hingalganj Police Station Case No. 210/24 dated 16.11.2024 has been registered and the same is under investigation.

In view of the criminal case having been registered and the petitioners apprehend that there may be further threat to their lives and liberty, I direct that the police authorities apart from taking the investigation to its logical conclusion would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of peace takes place and/or no untoward incident takes place as there is inimical relationship between the petitioners and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 25282 of 2024 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
