1. We have heard the appellant appearing in person.

2. The appellant is aggrieved by the order dated 05.07.2024 passed in WPA 28839 of 2022. The said writ petition was dismissed for default though in the last line it is stated that the writ petition is accordingly disposed of which would mean that the writ petition was dismissed for default not on merits.

3. Therefore, we dispose of this appeal by granting liberty to the appellant to file an application before the learned writ court for recalling the impugned order and restoring the writ petition to its original file and number and to decide the same on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Consequently, the connected application also stands disposed of.
