The instant application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is arising out of a matrimonial suit filed by the opposite party for dissolution of his marriage with the petitioner.

The parties were referred to mediation; in the said process, the disputes between them have been settled. The Mediation Report though is not on record but copy of the terms of the said settlement is filed by Mr. Paul, learned advocate for the opposite party; let it be kept with the record.

Mr. Paul submits that the opposite party, by way of bank draft, would pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) to the wife today, being a part of the total amount of permanent alimony for her and the daughter of the parties, and the rest would be paid in terms of the said settlement.

Be that as it may, the parties are required to take steps to implement the terms of settlement.

C.O. 3664 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of the Court. Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
