1. The writ petitioners are all candidates, who participated in the recruitment process conducted by the District Primary School Council, Howrah in the year 2009.

2. This Court had, by an order dated 9th April, 2024 as corrected on 12th April, 2024 passed in W.P.A. No. 3268 of 2015, decided on the terms and conditions mentioned therein that all the candidates, who had filed the writ petitions upto 31st January, 2024 shall be eligible for appointments subject to production of their documents and participation in the selection process.

3. The petitioners shall be entitled to the benefit of the said order and obtain appointments accordingly.

4. Those petitioners who have already been appointed need not be considered afresh. Those petitioners, who are covered under the order of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court dated 25th January, 2024, shall also get the benefit of the aforesaid order of this Court dated 9th April, 2024 as corrected on 12th April, 2024.

5. The District Primary School Council, Howrah shall, however, be entitled to strictly verify the bona fides of the writ petitioners and thereafter issue necessary orders of appointment.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. In view of disposal of the main writ petition, the connected applications being CAN 1 of 2023 and CAN 2 of 2024 are disposed of.

8. There will be no order as to costs.

9. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
