Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Petitioner participated in selection process for being appointed as Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (for short, 'CAPFs'). It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that height of the petitioner was measured as 156.3 cm which is less than the requisite height for a female candidate, i.e., 157 cm. Based on measurement of height of the petitioner on 10th September, 2025 petitioner was adjudged as ineligible.

It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner made an attempt to prefer appeal on the date of taking measurement of height of the petitioner but she was not permitted which prompted

the petitioner to prefer appeal by e-mail letter dated 15th September, 2025.

Attention of the Court has also been drawn to the provision of appeal as per Clause 12.5.5 as contained in the notice uploaded on the website of Staff Selection Commission on 5th September, 2024. 5.

Learned advocate representing the Union of India submits since there is provision to prefer appeal petitioner, if prefers representation in offline mode, same shall be decided, in accordance with law. 6.

Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties, leave is granted to the petitioner to make a representation to the Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) (Recruitment Board) being respondent no.5 questioning measurement of height of the petitioner made by the authority on 10th September, 2025 by seven (7) days from date.

If representation is made before the respondent no.5 within the aforesaid time, said respondent shall decide the same, in accordance with law by fortnight from the date of receipt of representation and the decision to be communicated to the petitioner by 48 hours thereafter.

With the above directions writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
