This Court notes with anguish that FIR No. 172 of 2018 dated 23rd August, 2018 under Sections 326/304 of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substance Act is still pending investigation before the Narayangarh Police Station, Paschim Medinipur.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, his client has received compensation and statement under Section 164 of the Cr. P. C. of the petitioner has been recorded.

The I. O. in the matter shall take urgent and immediate steps to complete the investigation within a period of three months from date.

It is expected that a fair and proper investigation is conducted.

Let a copy of the final report be made available to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
