Petitioner claims that a padlock has been affixed by the private respondent no. 4. Prima facie, it reflects that the dispute is between the members of the petitioner's club, Chandua Youngmen's Association. Petitioner to that effect lodged an information with the police authorities. However, the police authorities till date did not take any action. Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that police authorities cannot interfere under such circumstances, where there is an inter se dispute between the private parties.

Be that as it may, I direct that the petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Civil Court, if the jurisdictional Civil Court passes an order including an order of police assistance, police authorities would be bound by such order and they would respect and obey such order.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 25316 of 2024 is disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
