The petitioner was appointed in the post of Clerk-cumTypist at Seikhpara A.R.M. Polytechnic Institute, purely on temporary basis.

The petitioner is praying permanent appointment in the said post. In reply to an application under Right to Information Act, 2005, some informations have been supplied to the petitioner by the Principal of the said Polytechnic Institute under his letter dated May 24, 2024. The petitioner is challenging the said communication also.

Ms. Susmita Chatterjee, learned advocate for the State submits that the petitioner worked in the said institution till 2007, thereafter his engagement was not renewed and/or extended.

A prayer for permanent appointment as well as challenge to the information supplied under the Right to Information Act, 2005 is wholly misconceived action. W.P.A. 24872 of 2025 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
