The revisional application was preferred challenging the order dated August 21, 2012 passed by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.5, Barasat, North 24 Parganas in Criminal Revision No.242 of 2011. I have perused the order so passed by the learned Sessions Judge while exercising its revisional jurisdiction. The learned revisional court on an appreciation of the materials placed before its was pleased to set aside the order of the learned Magistrate and awarded a sum of Rs.3,000/- per month as maintenance in consonance with the provisions of Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having regard to the reasons so assigned by the learned revisional court, I am of the view that no interference is called for. Accordingly, CRR 3318 of 2012 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
