Shehabuddin ... for the State The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the Headmaster of Lodna Mankhamar Vivekananda Vidyamandir (H.S.) School is having a fake and invalid Master Degree from North Bengal University.

To that effect, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the officer-incharge of Onda Police Station in the district of Bankura.

The petitioner is aggrieved as no steps were taken by the police authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report, which reflects that the said authorities have already started an enquiry regarding the qualifications at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level as well as in the Calcutta University as also in the North Bengal University.

In view of the steps being taken by the police authorities for ascertaining regarding the genuinity of the qualifications of the Headmaster, I am of the view that the police authorities are already in motion.

It has also been reflected from an enclosure to the writ petition that the Headmaster was supposed to retire on 30th of September, 2024.

Be that as it may, if the police authorities on enquiry, finds any cognizable offence, then, in that case, the police

authorities would proceed in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 25325 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.
