Dr. Partha Ranjan Das In Re: An application under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

None is appearing on behalf of the petitioner. The matter is pending for more than 13 years. In stead of adjourning the matter suo motu I am inclined to dispose of the same based on the materials available with the record. This criminal revisional application challenges the order dated 14th September, 2009 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Alipore, South 24-Parganas in M/126 of 2009 thereby granting a sum of Rs. 1,200/- to the petitioner towards interim maintenance. Since after filing of this revisional application, none appeared to support the contention of the petitioner. Over the period of time of more than 13 years, it could be presumed that the proceeding has reached its logical conclusion.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application appears to be devoid of any merit. I do not find any reason to interfere with the order impugned.

With this, the criminal revisional application stands disposed of.

The interim order, if any, stands vacated.
