Supplementary affidavit and affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner are taken on record. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 29th November, 2022 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Metiabruz Police Station addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved that Metiabruz Police has not enforced an order of status quo passed by the learned 3rd Civil Judge (Junior Division), Alipore, in T.S. No.565 of 2020. There is also another civil suit being T.S. No.649 of 2020 in respect of the same property. 4.

The petitioner is aggrieved that notwithstanding the order of status quo, the private respondents has put a padlock on the property.

The petitioner may seek appropriate relief in the Civil Court.

The Metiabruz Police shall strictly comply with any order that may be passed by the Civil Court. Metiabruz Police shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
