Statement of the minor victim recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C implicates the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. Victim is a 11-year old girl.

In view of the materials on record and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
