Counsels for the parties submit that in view of the clarification dated 8th April, 2024 in Miscellaneous Application Diary No. 4303 of 2024, to the decision of the Supreme Court in the Case of Devesh Sharma Vs. Union of India & Ors. reported in 2023 SCC Online SC 985, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, WPA 24309 of 2023 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.
