It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that case and countercase were registered. Co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail. Accordingly, they pray for same relief.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits petitioners are the principal assailants. Victims suffered injuries and were hospitalized. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioners are the principal assailants. Due to assault victims suffered grievous injuries and were hospitalized. Injuries on the associates of the petitioners are not grievous. Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
