Today, the writ petition appears under the heading "For Dismissal".

On the prayer of Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay, learned Additional Government Pleader, time to file a report in the form of affidavit stands extended till today. The report in the form of affidavit, affirmed on February 26, 2024, filed today in Court, is taken on record. From page 33 of the said report it appears that, the direction of this Court dated January 18, 2024 stands complied with and the petitioner has already been recommended by the jurisdictional district inspector of schools for compassionate appointment.

All subsequent steps shall be followed strictly in accordance with law by the respondent no.7 and/or any further or other authority.

Nothing further survives in this writ petition.

In view of the above, this writ petition, WPA 22710 of 2019 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
