Mr. Billwadal Bhattacharyya, ld. DSGI appearing for the Union of India and Ms. Amrita Panja Moulick, learned counsel appearing for the State have jointly submitted that the directions passed by this Court with regard to the early release of the Japanese national have substantially progressed and the Japanese national is ready to travel to his own country Japan.

All arrangements including air ticket and all necessary permissions have been issued by

the respective authorities for his travel to Japan.

A copy of the air ticket produced by learned counsel for the State showing flight from Kolkata to Tokyo, Japan with a photostat copy of the Japanese national is taken on record.

In view of the subsequent development, WPA (H) 69 of 2023 is disposed of by recording the aforesaid facts with no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
