Petitioner submits he is in custody for over 600 days. He prays for bail on the ground of delay in trial. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record. There are materials showing recovery of narcotics above commercial quantity from the petitioner.

Trial has considerably progressed.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the Trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within six months from

the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 7.

Parties shall communicate this order to the trial court for due compliance.
