Sr. Advocate Mr. Shiladitya Rakshit ... ... for the petitioner Mr. Koustav Bagchi Mr. Debayan Ghosh Ms. Priti Kar ... ... for the de-facto complainant Ms. Anasuya Sinha Ms. Subhasree Patel ... ... for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 60 days. Investigation is complete. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant also opposes the prayer for bail.
We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was a teacher of the minor girl. It is alleged he raped her. Allegations are serious. Vulnerable witness is yet to be examined. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is thus rejected.
