The petitioner is an accused in NDPS case in which charge sheet No. 15 of 2022 under sections 20(b), 23(b), 23 (c) and 29 of the NDPS Act has been filed. 2.

The petitioner submits that since investigation is complete the scope of the writ petition is limited to a prayer for preservation of the CCTV footage of the STF Police Station and the place of arrest on 18th February 2022.

The tower location of the 4th respondent's mobile is also required to be preserved according to the counsel for the petitioner.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court directs the respondent Nos.2 and 5 to preserve the aforesaid data, if available as on date, and produce the same before the Sessions Court as and when trial commences.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
