1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that there was an altercation between the neighbours. No grievous injury was caused to anyone.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She refers to two injury reports and the statements of victim and other witnesses.

3. It appears from the injury report, injuries were inflicted on several parts of the body of the victim. There were cut injuries on different parts and even on a vital part like head.

4. Considering the above and the other materials available in the case diary, the alleged roles ascribed to the petitioners and the fact that the petitioner no. 2 is a female member of the household, while I am inclined to

grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner no. 2 (Amirunnesa Bibi @ Amirun Bibi), the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner nos. 1, 3 and 4 is rejected.

5. In the event of arrest, the petitioner no. 2 shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the said petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed-in-part.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
