It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that pursuant to the order dated 11.02.2025 passed by a learned coordinate Bench of this court granting bail to the present petitioners, they are complying with the conditions of bail imposed upon them and are presently residing at 39, Satkori Chatterjee Lane, P.S. & Dist. Howrah. It is further submitted that the petitioners are appearing before the Inspector-in-charge, Howrah Police Station twice a week. Accordingly, the petitioners pray for relaxation of the conditions of bail.

In order to substantiate the appearance of the petitioners before the Inspector-in-charge, Howrah Police Station, learned Advocate for the petitioners has handed over copies of the attendance slips. Let the same be kept with the record.

On perusal of the status report submitted by the State on 11.02.2025, it transpires that seven witnesses were already been examined and prosecution intended to examine eight more witnesses. It is further assumed that during this passage of time, all the vital witnesses have already been examined. That apart, the petitioners are
residing outside their territorial jurisdiction since being released on bail and are complying with the other conditions of bail imposed upon them. 4.
Though the learned Advocate for the State does not have specific instructions to that regard, he also does not raise any objection with regard to the relaxation.

Having heard the learned Advocates for both the parties and considering that the bail order was passed in the month of February, 2025 and as trial is almost on the verge of completion, this Court is of the view that the conditions of bail imposed upon the petitioners may be relaxed.

Accordingly, conditions of bail imposed upon the petitioners is relaxed to the extent that they are permitted to enter the jurisdiction of Jagaddal Police Station only upto their residence. They are directed to meet the Inspector-in-charge, Jagaddal Police Station once in a week until further orders.

Other conditions of bail as mentioned in the order dated 11.02.2025 shall remain the same.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly, disposed of.
