It appears that charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioners and others on 2nd June, 2023. Warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioners and on receipt of non-execution report of the warrant, a warrant of proclamation was issued against them by order passed on 8th August, 2023 by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nadia in connection with Kaliganj police station case no. 127 of 2023. Warrant of attachment was issued against them vide order passed on 9th September, 2023. The petitioners sought to surrender before the learned Magistrate but their surrender was not accepted since the case record was committed to the learned Sessions Court by then. The petitioners seek to surrender before the learned trial Court within 14 days from date and pray for bail.

In the event the petitioners surrender before the learned trial Court within 14 days from date and pray for bail, learned trial Court shall deal with their application in accordance with law. If the petitioners fail to surrender before the learned trial Court within the stipulated time frame, learned Court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioners, in accordance with law.

Warrant of attachment issued against the petitioners be stayed till 26th November, 2024.

C.R.R. 4400 of 2024 is disposed of.
