It is evident therefrom that the CESC Limited, in all fairness, has selected a new position for additional service in favour of the private respondent. The rough sketch map annexed to the report indicates that the said connection, if given, shall not intrude into the property of the present writ petitioner. As such, there is no further impediment for the CESC Limited to give electricity connection to the private respondent over the alternative route as shown in the sketch

map annexed to the report filed today in deference to the previous order of this court. 3.

Accordingly, WPA No. 24345 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to give electricity connection to the private respondent herein over the alternative route as indicated in the rough sketch map annexed to the report filed in court today.

The said report along with the rough sketch map be made a part of the records of this writ petition. 5.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
