Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record. Learned Advocate for the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which there is a progress in respect of Hariharpara Police Station case no. 260/2022 dated 17.06.2022. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits although charge-sheet has been submitted but till date the stage of consideration of charges have not been overcome by the learned trial Court. Report reflects that next date is fixed on 14th February, 2024, accordingly the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 4th Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad is directed to take steps so that the stage of consideration of charges are over on the date so fixed or within a fortnight thereafter. Learned Court after the aforesaid stage if it finds that the trial of the case is warranted, then it would fix at least a schedule consisting of three dates and fix a schedule once every 60 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its

logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties.

The learned Public Prosecutor conducting the case would produce materials, exhibits and documents on the date so fixed for examination of witnesses concerned.

With the aforesaid observations CRR 4058 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
