1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. A proclamation was issued only after the present application for anticipatory bail was filed by the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She submits that the petitioner had been absconding for the last 10 years. She relies on the statement of the victim recorded before the learned Magistrate and the other statements available in the case diary.

3. It is surprising that in spite of there being allegation of rape and illicit traffic of the victim girl, no such provisions have been imputed in the charge-sheet. This Court is

confident that the jurisdictional Court will look into the matter.

4. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim girl, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
