Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case solely on the basis of statement of co-accused and is in custody for approximately four months.

Learned advocate for the State on the other hand opposes the prayer for bail and submits 1539 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the possession of two persons and the investigation of the case is still in progress. Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner bail.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1391 of 2025 is dismissed.

However, learned trial Court is directed that if in case there are no money trail or CDR with the other co-accused any

recovery pursuant to statement of the present petitioner, learned trial Court after submission of charge-sheet will release the petitioner on bail on such terms and conditions as he deems fit and proper, particularly, for ensuring the further appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
