This revisional application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner/wife for expeditious disposal of the suit filed by her, being Matrimonial Suit No.1796 of 2022, pending before the Court of the learned Additional District Judge, Fifth Court at Alipore.

It is submitted that the matter is now at the stage of cross-examination of PW1 and it is continuing since December 2023. In support of his contention a copy of the certified copy of the order has been annexed with the revisional application.

Upon perusal of order sheets it transpires that on two to three occasions the matter was adjourned on account of resolution of the bar. However, considering that the cross-examination of PW1 is pending since long the learned trial Court is requested to make all endeavour to conclude the cross-examination of PW1 at the earliest and dispose of the entire suit pending before the trial Court as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the server copy of this order.

In view of the aforesaid, this revisional application is disposed of. A copy of the order sheet be forwarded to the learned trial Court for information.
