The petitioner contends he is the husband of the victim lady. He has been falsely implicated over matrimonial dispute. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail he submits that she was subjected to suffer severe torture and petitioner was attempted to hang her. She was hospitalized.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim shows she was subjected to mental and physical torture by her husband. He and others have attempted to hang her to death. Allegations are supported by medical evidence. 4.

In view of the nature of the offence, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.
