It transpires that the present appeal is not maintainable before this Court due to lack of pecuniary jurisdiction in view of the valuation of the suit, from which the appeal arises, being Rs.25/- only.

Accordingly, FAT No. 322 of 2024 along with CAN 1 of 2024 are dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to the parties to present the appeal before the appropriate court having jurisdiction.

It is made clear that the merits of the case have not been gone into by this Court at all.

Leave is granted to the learned Advocate-on-record for the appellant to take back the certified copies of the impugned judgment and decree upon furnishing photocopies of the same for the records.

There will be no order as to costs.
