It has additionally been contended that reminders were sent on 22.03.2023 and 26.03.2023 and the petitioner and his family members felt insecurity for their life and property as proper police protection was not provided to them.

I have considered the representation which was advanced to the Officer-in-charge of Kharagpur (Local)

Police Station by the present petitioner.

Since more than two years have passed when the representation was advanced to the concerned police station, I direct that if the petitioner is faced with fresh inconveniences, he will file a fresh representation to the concerned police station. The concerned police station will consider such representation in accordance with law and take steps as they deem fit and proper considering the insecurity towards life and property as has been felt by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 24389 of 2023 is disposed of.
