Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that there has been a violation of the order passed by this Court. Although the Contai Police Station was directed to keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no harm is done to the petitioner, they have not done so. In the meantime, threats were given and the family members of the petitioner were chased away from the place where there were frequenting and they are being pressurized not to approach the Court. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnor denies the allegations made in the application for contempt, relies on the report and submits that complaint dated 21.09.2024 was send by the petitioner by post and it was

received by the police authorities on 27.09.2024. On that very day itself, Sub-Inspector Soumen Guha of Contai Police Station visited the house of the petitioner Tobrej Ali Saha, but the petitioner was not available in his house. A GD Entry was lodged at Contai Police Station and the police are keeping a sharp vigil around his house.

It appears that the police have taken steps on the complaint sent by the petitioner by post.

It does not appear that there is a deliberate violation of the order passed by this Court.

Let the alleged contemnors continue to comply with the order passed by this Court by keeping a sharp vigil at the locale ensuring that no breach of peace takes place. No further order need be passed in this regard. Accordingly, the application being CPAN 1447 of 2023 is disposed of, however, without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
