Learned advocate also submits that even accusations of the prosecution in respect of the knife are not corroborated by the witnesses.
Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that live ammunitions along with deadly weapons were recovered from a gang of persons, consequent to which, seizures were effected on or about 27th January,
2025. Learned advocate also submits that there are antecedents of the present petitioner.
However, I find from the initial seizure list, the name of the present petitioner is present.
Having regard to the provisions of Sections 61(2) of the BNS along with the attending circumstances, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for the bail of the petitioner is Rejected.
Accordingly, CRM(M) 2223 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
