Present petition has been filed for expeditious disposal of proceedings arising out of Jalangi P.S. Case No.656 of 2017 under Sections 376D/379/506 of IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a de facto complainant. It has been submitted that though the charge-sheet was filed in 2017 but the proceedings had not seen any progress. The complainant as an inherent right of an FIR and speedy trial. The delay in trial frustrates the very purpose of justice.

The court considers that no prejudice will be caused either of the parties shall appropriate direction issued for expeditious disposal. The learned trial court is directed to conduct the proceedings arising out of Jalangi P.S. Case No.656 of 2017, expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournments in accordance with the law.

Accordingly, CRR 4738 of 2025 stands disposed of.
