The contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 16th February, 2005 passed in WP 21359(W) of 2004. It appears that initially a Rule was issued on 17th November, 2006 against Amit Kumar Das, the then sole contemnor. On 11th August, 2009, with the leave of the Court, Srikumar Mondal was added as alleged contemnor and a further Rule was issued against him on 8th September, 2009.

The matter appeared in the list on 16th July, 2021 and was called on twice, but no one appeared on behalf of the parties. The matter is appearing in the list today marked as "Last Chance" with a note in the list that appropriate orders will be passed if no one appears in the matter. Even today no one appears in the contempt petition. No one has applied for joining in the virtual mode.

It appears that the parties are not interested to proceed further with the contempt petition. The same is disposed of without any further order.

Rules stand discharged accordingly.
