Mr. Dyutiman Banerjee Mr. A. Das Mr. Debjit Dutta ..for the Petitioner Mr. Amitava Mitra Mr. Samsul Kabir Humayan Reza....for the State Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and report submitted by the State are taken on record. None appears for the private respondents despite service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was duped of huge amount of money by the private respondent, which was demanded through a phone call when the petitioner was abroad. The petitioner filed an application under Section 6 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 seeking information as to whether any voice sample was collected by the police and report submitted in that regard. In reply thereto, he was informed that voice sample was collected but no report was submitted.

Learned counsel for the State submits that voice sample of the private respondent was collected and sent for FSL examination on October 21, 2024. The report is

yet to be received. The investigating officer shall take necessary steps upon receipt of the said report. In view of the above, nothing further remains to be dealt with in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
