The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the complaint lodged by him against the private respondents has not been responded to by the police authority. It appears from the report submitted by the State that after filing of the writ petition, a notice was issued upon the petitioner by the police authority requesting him to appear before the authority for the purpose of preliminary investigation.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed after filing of the writ petition.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition. The same is accordingly disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
