Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 3 years 2 months. Learned advocate for the petitioner has taken this Court through the deposition of the victim who has been examined as PW 4. Learned advocate for the de facto complainant as well as the State is present.

Case diary has been made available to this Court. However, since the deposition of the victim has been placed before this Court, I have considered the same on the anvil of the principles of evidence particularly with the settled proposition of law regarding the sole testimony of prosecutrix.

Having regard to the same, I am of the view that, at this

stage, the petitioner has failed to make out any case for being released on bail.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 2221 of 2025 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
