Das ...for KMC It appears that the petitioner is aggrieved by the amalgamation of premises Nos. 92A, Jamunalal Bajaj Street (formerly premises Nos. 92A and 92B, Jamunalal Bajaj Street, Ward No. 42, Division XV, Barabazar, Kolkata - 700007) under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The petitioner submits that, based on this alleged illegal amalgamation, a sanctioned plan has been issued by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation for the construction of a multi-storied building.

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the adjacent plot.

It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite several representations made before the

Corporation authorities, no effective action has been taken. In view of the foregoing, I find no justification to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that respondent No. 4 shall consider the representations of the petitioner, appearing at page 24 of the writ petition, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. The petitioner and all interested parties shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated forthwith thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 25680 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
