Petitioner contends he had not kidnapped the minor. He prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the allegation in the First Information Report and other materials on record. It is alleged petitioner's son kidnapped the minor for illicit purposes. The minor is yet to be recovered.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioner for recovery of the minor is essential. Hence we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. 5.
