1. Affidavit of service on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. Report in the form of Affidavit from the D.I. of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipur is also taken on record. Although, it appears from the said affidavit that the communications have been made with the headmaster of the school concerned, there has been no substantial progress till date. The order of transfer has been given effect to.
3. In course of hearing, Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick, learned A.G.P. appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnor has placed a communication from District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Purba Medinipur addressed to the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission forwarding the transfer application of the petitioner which was submitted by the school authority vide letter dated 30.4.2025 for taking appropriate steps. A letter received from the headmaster of the school dated 30.4.2025 communicating a
decision that the school will have no objection about the transfer related issues, if he gets better chance anywhere.
4. Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick is requested to submit a copy of such communication in the form of an affidavit by the adjourned date.
5. Mr. Sourav Mitra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the West Bengal School Service Commission submits that in the event any such application is received the communication will be processed immediately.
6. The matter stands adjourned till 13.6.2025.
7. A compliance report shall be filed by the alleged contemnor as well as commission and we expect that by that time the petitioner shall be transferred to the suitable school in terms of an order dated 30.12.2023.
